Towel Warmer
A warm towel is only impressive if it is actually warm.
Our towel warmer holds cotton oshibori towels at serving temperature throughout service, so the last table of the evening gets the same gesture as the first. Designed for restaurant, spa and private dining use, and sized to sit discreetly at a service station.
Using a Towel Warmer in Service
Cotton wet towels are served warm for comfort and, in warmer months, chilled instead. The difference between a considered gesture and a lukewarm cloth is almost always holding temperature rather than the towel itself — a towel warmed and then left on a tray loses heat within minutes.
Setting up for service
- Roll towels before loading so they hold shape and heat evenly
- Bring the unit up to temperature before service rather than during it
- Load only what you expect to use in the next hour; towels held too long dry out
- Serve with tongs, one per guest, from a tray or dish
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe the interior daily and allow it to dry fully before closing. Residual moisture left in a warm cabinet overnight is the usual cause of odour. Never load towels that have not been properly laundered — heat will amplify anything left in the fibre.

How many towels does it hold?
Capacity is listed on the product page. For most restaurant service, loading in batches through the evening works better than filling it once, as towels held too long begin to dry.
Can it be used for chilled towels?
The unit is designed for warming. For chilled service, prepare towels in advance and hold them refrigerated rather than in the warmer.
Does it work with tissue wet towels?
No. Tissue towels are individually sealed and served at room temperature. The warmer is for reusable cotton oshibori towels.
What towels do you recommend with it?
